On Saturday October 2nd, Swim Coach Dominic Ross organized a handful of Stingray Swim Club and Community volunteers to put in a long, hard, hot but enormously productive day clearing the decks as the first step in bringing the Lions Aquatic Center back to a safe condition. Hurricane Ivan ruined the enormous shade structures and most of the bleachers, reducing them to dangerous pieces of twisted metal.....more
