Personal Bests take a tumble in Jamaica

 
The 15 SSC swimmers competing this weekend in Jamaica took big chunks off their personal best times, picked up some medals along the way and put in a strong team performance. At the end of the four day meet, they finished in fourth place behind the three large Jamaican teams, Tornadoes, Y Speedos and Blue Seals. 

Danielle broke 7 SSC records while at the same time setting 3 Jamaican National Age Group Records over the weekend! All of the other swimmers set multiple personal best times as well during the course of the meet with Seiji and Danielle picking up high point awards in their age groups.

First time travel squad members Alec and Stefanie performed exceptionally well and we look forward to much more fast swimming from them in the future!

The next away trip on the schedule is set for Sarasota, Florida over the long weekend in May. Club members of all ages and abilities are encouraged to sign up early and participate in this exciting trip!
