Lions Pool Heats Up On Night Two of Competition (Results Now Posted)
The second session of action in the 2009 Consolidated Water Meet saw a number of younger swimmers trying out events for the first time and many of the more seasoned swimmers putting in some fast times.
The 6 and unders were in action, with Ali Jackson and Tobias Mikkelsen being crowned high point winners after both having won all four of the stroke races on offer.
Lara Butler set the first Lions Pool and SSC Record of the night in winning the 200 Free in a time of 2:15.80. Shortly after, Danielle Boothe broke the Pool Record in the 100 Fly (1:12.39) and then bettered her own 200 Breast record as well, lowering the standard to 2:50.13
