Stingrays Rock Jam!

The results confirm a new SSC Record for Corey Westerborg in the Boys 8 and Under 200M Individual Medley. His time of 3:52.96 obliterated the old mark set by Alex McCallum some nine years ago of 4:18.46. Alex was inconsolable at training this morning but has vowed to come back stronger for the experience and offered his heartfelt congratulations to Corey.

A further 26 personal best times were achieved by the team during the second session, with all 15 swimmers contributing at least one to that total.

With the third session now also complete, word on the cyber-street has it that another old Stingray Record may have fallen by the wayside, medals collected and personal bests smashed. Rumour also has it that one swimmer may have attained their first "A" time in their new age group, a time which would make that swimmer eligible for selection to the 2012 Cayman Islands CARIFTA Team on March 5th.......We await the official results.......
