Stingray swimmers show strength at CBAC Open Water Event
Stingray's younger swimmers took to the waters in style and with speed again for the second weekend in a row, but this time in the open water for the first race of the CBAC Sea Swim Series.
The first race of the day was the 10 & Unders 200m Sea Swim, led the whole way and won by Stingray's Corey Westerborg! Not far behind, taking 4th place was Katriona Williams who after the race proclaimed, "I got 4th and I didn't stop even once!"
Leading Stingray in the 400m swim was Iain Macrae who came up with his best Sea Swim finish ever, crossing the finish line in 14th place. Krishna Adapa also came in with his best finish ever, grabbing the 27th spot.
Congrats to all Stingray swimmers who came out to compete!
Next Sea Swim is Saturday, March 2. The 600m distance will be contested then. See you at the pool!
