Stingrays Newcomers Make A Splash!

Stingray's newest and youngest gathered this morning for the CBAC Shamrock Splash at the Camana Bay Pool. A small team of only 12 swimmers represented Stingray well with first place swims and first-ever swims.

Little veterans Allyson Belfonte and Sam Dakers led the pack, both bringing home first place finishes overall. Sam in the 50 Butterfly and Allyson in the 25 Free, 25 Fly and 25 Breaststroke.

Jessica Day and Kneau McKenzie also delighted with massive PB's (personal bests). Jessica dropped 7 seconds in both the 100 free and 50 backstroke while Kneau made big drops in the 100 free, 50 backstroke and 100 IM.

Joining the team in competition today for the first time were Olivia Weaver, Alexcina Fraser, Ethan Smith and Madison Chin. All four will be back next weekend for the Pete Ribbins Meet at Lion's Pool!
