Bodden Breaks Through to Qualify for Zones

After narrowly missing CARIFTA qualifying times and then missing his Zone cut by .04 in Sarasota, Little John Bodden finally broke through tonight at the "Last Ditch Time Trial" by swimming a blazing fast 100 butterfly in 1:02.36. Bodden scraped just under the qualifying time this go round, edging himself in by .03 seconds.

Sam Bailey also added to her program by knocking off 4 seconds in the 200 IM, clocking a 2:30.33 (unofficial watch time), getting under the qualifying mark by more than 3 seconds. Ali Jackson also blazed in the 100 freestyle, dropping heaps of time and clocking a 1:01.98 (unofficial watch time) giving her another Zone cut. Joining the party was Stefanie Boothe, who in her second try at the 100 freestyle, also hit a Zone qualifying time, going 1:03.29.

Congrats to all! Fast swims across the board tonight.
