Saturday's Sea Swim and Awards Barbecue finished off a wonderful weekend of fun and festivies at the CIASA Annual Fundraiser. Cole Morgan powered to an impressive victory in the Open 200 Backstroke this morning, clocking a time of 2:15.98, smashing his previous best and taking down Alex McCallum's old meet record, set just one year ago. After the first session of the Christmas Open in Kingston, Jamaica, Stingray's contingent of 18 swimmers stands atop the overall team leaderboard, led by awesome performances on both the boys and girls sides! The 13-Over Boys provided heart-stopping action today during the 4x100 Freestyle relay in what turned out to be the most exciting, pulse-pounding race of the 2013 Mike Lockwood Invitational. Split evenly between the A&B teams, Stingrays 13-Over boys relays both held off a charging CBAC relay, anchored by two of their coaches. The Mike Lockwood Memorial Swim Meet has not had a shortage of dull moments. Impressive performances have come from all age groups with still another day to go.
